SEO and page copy

BAATLE v0.9.22 — SEO and page copy

Page copy and structure

  • Homepage: clearer explanation of project battles, simpler section labels and the maker call to action “Show your project. Put it to the vote.”
  • Arena and project directory: page titles and descriptions distinguish live battles, completed results and project discovery. Category pages describe the category and its projects.
  • Battle and result pages: titles include both projects; page headings and descriptions explain choosing a project per question and how the result is counted.
  • Project profiles and maker pages: titles and metadata use the project or maker name and available factual details. Thin or unapproved project profiles are marked noindex.
  • Added About BAATLE, How battles work and Project and battle guidelines pages, linked from the shared footer.
  • Search, project submission and battle creation remain noindex where they are utility or form pages.
Fix#55

Less waiting between questions

We cut unnecessary server work when you move between battle questions. Instead of building a whole page, BAATLE can return just the part you need.

Update#54

Clearer messages, less noise

Success, information, warnings and errors now have more consistent styling. We also shortened help text and stopped treating an empty list like something went wrong.

Fix#53

Account emails that arrive more reliably

Verification and password-reset emails now use the same delivery queue as other BAATLE notifications. Verification links last seven days, and the messages are easier to understand.

Fix#52

Small details, easier to read

We made the no-votes message easier to notice and enlarged the arrows between questions. No extra popups or visual tricks, just clearer controls.

Fix#51

Battle history should look like a battle

We fixed a layout problem that squeezed some finished battle cards into a narrow column. Project names, scores and the two sides now have room to breathe again.

Fix#50

Less scrolling, clearer navigation

We tightened the mobile navigation and improved the homepage layout so you can get to battles sooner. We also worked on layout shifts that made the page jump as it loaded.

Update#49

Project updates without surprises

Project submissions and edits go through review, with clearer notes when something needs attention. Approved details stay available while proposed changes are checked.

Update#48

Badges you can share

Projects can share a BAATLE badge, and eligible winners can link to a real battle result. A badge should say something useful, not pretend that one vote settles everything.

Update#47

More about the people behind projects

Maker profiles can show a photo and a few public details. Project pages and battle cards also make it easier to find the people involved.
